Phoneline not working lack of information

trying to get more useful help then i have had with call centres

my services were restricted last thursday 

paid my bill 2 hours after they were restricted , as soon as i had paid my bill i have had a dead line no dial tone and no infinity

reported the fault to bt who said it was a local exchange problem and would be fixed by sunday, phoned bt again yesterday and said it would be repaired by midnight last night and if it wasnt to call back today and get the fault escalated with open reach 

have just spoken to a lady at the call centre who point blankly refused to email open reach and escalate the fault and told me that if is wasnt repaired by thursday to contact again and i would be further updated with when the fault would be repaired

they are saying that thier is no problem with my exchange or no outages

ive already tried that this morning and they were unable to give me any advice , they phoned me and put me through to another call centre who said they would now have to wait until the 8th and if it was not resolved by then to contact them back and then they could give me a new date but what not escalate it with openreach

Openreach are extremely busy in some parts of the UK due to the recent storms which has caused a lot of infrastructure damage and engineers are being moved around the UK to clear this backlog this is most likely the cause of the delay in your area

most probbally just the lack of communication from bt and 3 different of when the problem will be sorted is not very good
