Ping issues

My ping seems to waver so much it beggers belief.

I live with my brother and whenever he is in his room, the ping reaches about 200 - 300. I mainly use my computer for gaming, so am positive nothing I am doing is majorly affecting the ping.

It has got to the point the I have made a spreadsheet where I have recorded hundreds of speed and ping test results, along with the specific time and whether my brother was in his room or not. It proves what I have said.

Although he will never admit to it, I am positive he watches masses of videos on Netflix and probably downloads hundreds of GB's of rubbish.

Is there any way I can restrict bandwidth to his computer from the hub?

Re: Ping issues

As far as I am aware you can not restrict bandwidth to users on the Homehubs. You would need to get another router which allows you to do that.
