Playback complete error

I have had the G4 Youview box just over a week now. On a couple of occasions when I have tried to play back a recording for the first time I get "Playback complete - playback of your recording has ended". This is an error because I have not played it, I am trying to play it for the first time and unfortunately it does not give me the option of starting at the beginning of the recording, even if I press the 0 button to try and get it to start playing at 0 minutes. 

Luckily so far I have been able to watch the failed recordings via BBC iPlayer but this will be annoying if this happens with a programme that is not available to playback via one of the on demand players.

Anybody know how to fix or overcome this?
