Please help. Need engineer visit

Go to solution
We have had an ongoing fault for weeks. The engineer is puzzled and as they leave they state if this doesn't work phone back and we will come back out.

Latest visit last Thursday. He left saying if this doesn't work I will come back and do ( ...)

Problem is I can't get BT operator to rebook a visit. He said there is an MBOC which will be fixed soon and the problem will go away.
But I know that is nothing to do with my issue and I am just following the orders of the latest engineer.

So frustrating -why do they keep putting my faults as solved when they are not and we have to start again at the beginning?
Does it get any better or is leaving BT completely the best option?

You can leave BT if you want but unless you move to Virgin, your new Internet provider will be using the same line etc as BT so your line problem will still be there.

Yes this is the problem I thought.
We live 200 m from the exchange and the engineer can't locate the problem so supposedly he is trying a different fix every time.
Problem is requesting a return visit once they've gone. I'm not sure the engineer realises the lengths we have to go through to get them back.

Sorted it. Thanks.
