Poor Response from BT

For two months now I have been trying to get BT to deal with my slow BB (0.1mps) and BB dropping when I receive a phone call. An engineer has been out twice sorted the problem i.e. speed up to 0.9 and no dropping, only for the problem to return a few days later. On my last  contact they were going to ring me back in half an hour so I waited half a day with no contact, waited again the following day, went on holiday for a few days but still no contact. Any suggestions on how to get any real support from BT.
