Pop-up Blocker with adobe on BT-Yahoo under IE9

I have installed BT-yahoo software with IE9 on Windows 7.

Since the upgrade I am no longer statements or bills from bank or Electricity company when I request them.

Their sites suggest adding the site address to pop-up blocker settings. This does not work.

If I turn off the pop-up blocker I still cannot display a bill or statement which is presented in Adobe.

When I was using IE8 everything worked as suggested by banks help site - set address of bank in pop-up blocker settings and the statement then opened in adobe as a new window.

Go into the internet explorer security settings, add your bank and electric company's website into the allowed section, this may solve your problem.

Try another browser - it may be an IE issue

Firefox - http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/new/

or Chrome - www.google.com/chrome

Which version of Adobe Reader? there is a problem with IE9 and Acrobat Reader X

Can you right click and save as the file?

The following link may help - http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/331/331025.html

Thanks for the advice on IE9 and Acrobat Reader X not working together.

I will revert my software to earlier levels.

Re: Pop-up Blocker with adobe on BT-Yahoo under IE9

I had the same problem (and others) with IE9 on Win7 and had to revert to IE8, to be quite honest tho' I've also tried Opera,Chrome,Safari,Avant,Maxthon and found Firefox 3.6.18 to be the best of the lot.

Best,

Del.

No problem, You could try V5 which is the latest release , If you don't get on with that you could try the older version from - http://www.oldapps.com/firefox.php?old_firefox=123.

I also found it best to add on Adblock plus as an extension- https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/
