Re: Port Forwarding - Foscam F18910W Smart Hub 6

Foscam IP cameras usually use port 88 as their local port for video and management. Can you get a connection to the camera using port 88? My Foscam cameras have ports 88, 443 and 888 open locally. 443 is the SSL port, and 888 is IIRC for audio stream.

Unless you can get to your camera locally, there is no point in setting up port forwarding as this is only relevant to access the device from outside your network, and you will also need a DDNS service setup to use it reliably.

What software or app are you using to connect to your camera(s)? The Foscam apps aren't terribly good and there are better 3rd party apps out there. I use something called uCamPro on my iOS devices and an app by the same developer on my Mac.
