Ported number to BT but texts still send from old number

Hi,

 

I have just joined BT Mobile and Ported my old number over to BT on Tuesday.  All appeared to go well.

 

However, whenever I send a text message it sends form the old number that BT gave me and not my Ported number.  Calls work fine.

 

I have rebooted the phone but it hasn't fixed it?

 

Can anyone help please?

Is it an iPhone by any chance? If not give the mobile live chat a go or give them a ring on 150.

If it is an iPhone, pop into your imessage settings and change from the BT number to your ported number in the 'send and receive as' option
