Ports Forwarding Problem

This is my first post as a newbie to BT Infinity Broadband, so be gentle with me.

I have signed up for BT Infinity which was connected and installed on Friday

I'm trying to port forward to my utorrent WEB UI  that I have setup.

I have already setup an www.dyndns.com Address which worked fine when I was with virgin. Now I have entered the DNS Address into the BT Hub 3 along with the port I'm forwarding to which is 8080.

Now I've download a port tester to test the port 8080  and it's coming with Port 8080 is offline and can not be reached.

I've been trying to solve this issue all day today with no success. I've also googled it and a lot of people are having the same issues...........Has this been resolved as of yet ?

Can anyone help to solve this?

Many thanks.

It looks like others have problems with ports....

If you don't get a result/reply to solve your problem in this thread.....

you may find something among these other posts that might help.-

Re: Ports Forwarding Problem

I might be wrong, but I think I read somewhere that the HH3 has problems with port forwarding.
I have never used an HH/HH3,but have no problems with forwarding ports in my Belkin N1 router.
So is this an HH3/HH problem.?

I use NoIP as my client.

Re: Ports Forwarding Problem

More than likely a HH3 problem.

I too am using a Belkin N1 Vision although I also have a Belkin PlayMax in reserve if the N1 goes toes up.Smiley Wink
