I'm currently on Super Fast 1 and I still have the original hub that came with my BT Infinity many years ago and I'm wondering if BT will do a few hub upgrade? They've been bugging me to recontract so figured it might be possible.

Make it part of your negotiations when you re-contract. It will not happen automatically.
Having said that, if there is nothing wrong with the hub you have don't forget the saying "If it ain't broke don't fix it".
Newer is not always best.
