@Sircoyniewrote:Starting to look like we’re not getting any valid feedback or update on a fix for these issues this year. Thanks for the love BT!
Pretty much certain now nothing this year, unless BT don’t have a technical freeze over holiday periods.
such a shame customers being let down
So 2021 is here, any news?
Thanks
Who knows when they will be bothered to support us.
I have a new issue with my units now, it appears that second ethernet port (I know ethernet backhaul is not working as it was advertised to!) is only giving a 100mb connection (I have my Mac connected to it). I cannot get this to change back to the full 1Gb connection I was previously getting.
A capping of speed to ~100Mb is often due to the Ethernet cable being used. Have you recently changed the cable you were using? If so have you tried using a another cable to see if this corrects this issue?
The cables supplied with WHW (Cat 5E) or CAT 6 cables should be capable of handling Gigabit rates whilst lower spec cables may not.
Hi thanks, it’s not the cable as it is CAT6 and has been working fine for months. I have reset everything again today (after sending a log to your tech team) and the issue appears to have gone away for now but I am SO tired of having to do this type of thing on such a regular basis (weird bug appears, only way to fix it is a factory reset).
Please for the love of god tell us what is going on with the over due firmware updates/fixes?
This often happens in the speed negotiation process where both devices are set to auto negotiate. Have you tried fixing the speed in the MacBook ethernet interface ?
