@PaddyB any update? This feels like Groundhog Day! We are still missing features that you guys “sold us”! I think it’s time you came clean?
Like most - I am awaiting an update. The main disc is now rebooting itself every day, sometimes more than once. Factory reset all discs but still the same. When it's working it's great. May just be a faulty disc for me but looking through the forum looks like there's a lot of similar problems which suggests firmware.
Looking forward to an update.
my new recent issue is the removal of a device from a wifi schedule. I removed my daughter's Nintendo switch from her list of devices which is on a weekly schedule and setting it up was straight forward.
I removed it from the list of my daughter's scheduled devices but the Nintendo switch just wouldn't connect, had to factory reset my 3 disc setup.... not good.
I'm just thankful that BT follows an agile development methodology. Imagine the mess we'd be in if they didn't 🤣
Yep., still waiting. What a horrible experience this has been. Awful community engagement.
SGAB205018 Wont Relay / Pass on DHCP to clients..... how do I FORCE Bridge mode and standard AP functionality in Premium Whole Home Discs?
Anyone?
The only way to fudge these to work is to set manual IP / gateway / DNS for each client, and FORCE default gateway to be my Virgin Router Gateway manually. Albeit this is all in the DHCP Scope of my DHCP Server.
Any help welcomed.
Sorry fella, the mods don’t really support this product anymore. Seems they pop up every 6 months or so and say they are but nothing ever actually happens and the product remains faulty, underdeveloped and miss sold.
Shame on BT.
Hi, DHCP working ok on my premium discs with a super hub 3 originally and now with a super hub 4.
The hub has the wifi disabled (2.4 / 5ghz bands) but is not in modem only mode as the BT system is not a router its just a WIFI access point. With it set like this the hub dishes out the IP addresses and the BT system just handles the WiFi connection.
Yup,
Cisco router DHCP ----->>>>------- VIRGIN ROUTER as gateway (DHCP disabled here, and wifi disabled here, tested in modem and non modem mode)

CLIENTS (all existing tech getting DHCP from CISCO in 192.168.2.x range) inc existing APs
BT WholeHome Premium APs fail to do so. They also fail to PASS any DHCP information to CLIENTS that connect to them after I manually configure the AP IP's so I can see them. The APP also cant see them.
I've also installed 4 sets of the Standard WholeHome discs without a single issue.
Seems like a HARDWARE failing, I've been doing this stuff for 25years, and I've never had hardware act like these crazy things. They are now on their way back to AMAZON, albeit they looked promising. Equally they could be GEN1 hardware with a fault???. I see a lot of people with DHCP relay and DHCP issuance issues with these AP's.
Hello all. I picked up the premium 3 pack set 6 months ago and so far in a 3 storey property ( loft conversion ) it seems to work generally ok but I have had an occasion where the whole setup reset itself for no reason over night . I have have the firmware set to not auto update so could not have been that .
With the lack of any updates have these been discontinued as I’m generally surprised how little support these are getting on firmware updates.
