@DanielS  as always with BT products it appears that you have missed your own deadline of releasing a firmware update this month. I believe it would be only right for you to give us long suffering premium customers an update on this today please?

Can you please tell me if this firmware is actually coming and if so when your expecting it, your last message suggested it would have dropped in June, i am now at the point of just buying something that will actually work, far to many random disconnections on these as i have stated not fit for purpose, at least with ethernet backhaul these should work for me, hence waiting for new firmware

Wow no response, they really couldn’t give a monkeys about their customers! 

Anyone got any ideas how we can escalate this into the public domain as we need to warn people about buying BT products!

Looks like we have been lied to again and back to square one. Seriously tired of this now. Has anyone ever taken a case to trading standards/citizens advice as we have all been falsely advertised and sold a product that is not fit for purpose or matching the spec advertised at sale?

Also: I have also reached out to BBC’s watchdog, please everyone do the same. BT shouldn’t get away with this type of commercial behaviour.

That’s a great idea,I will be sending an email tomorrow as well. 

Lets hope it does something, unfortunately though as the Germans say, “the fish rots from the head first”.

Being worked on LOL .... lies again, it doesn't take 14 months!

I am sure once the papers / news outlets read this thread it would be all over the net.

For me its time to switch i can"t carry on i am just winding myself up every other day restarting em, as I have stated many times they are not fit for purpose. 

Mine are just used as mesh access points on my IoT VLan 

Time to change, this will be last BT product I buy.

I have now also started a resolver (google it) case against BT for falsely advertising and selling a product.

Please also do this as we now need to mount pressure as it is obvious that they either don’t care now (I don’t think they ever have) and or they can’t fix the problem and original hardware is not fit for advertised purpose.

Hi Everyone,

I want to say that I am truly sorry that the new firmware has not yet been released and that we have not updated the thread to let you know where we stand.  We fully appreciate the frustration this has caused.

We had hoped that the new firmware would have been ready to deploy during the month of June.  This was not possible as during the testing phase we found a few issues with the proposed release.

The good news is that we have worked through these issues and the firmware is now in the final test phase.  We have a high degree of confidence that we will be able to deploy the new firmware during the month of July.  I don't know exactly when but as soon as the firmware becomes available through the early adopter's program, I will post back here to let you all know.

Please bear with us for another short while and thank you for your patience.
