Price Changes and cancelling

I have received the email regarding price rises and wish to cancel my contract without incurring any charges, I am still within my 12 month contract.

 

I am led to believe I can leave early, giving 30 days notice. Do I need to find another provider for the cancellation to go through? This seems odd as I may want to go without broadband/TV for a period.

Welcome to this user forum.

 

You are under no obligation to move to another provider, just make sure you tell BT that you are leaving because of the price increase.and give 30 days notice.
