Problematic Broadband - who to turn to for help?

My Boradband / Smarthub has been playing up the last 2 days with very sluggish speed all day yesterday and today every 5 minuets I am getting network errors (mail servers can't be reached and websites give DNS errors "ERR_Name_not_resolved").

I am a web developer with a ton of work to do, I can't do it while this is happening.

I have spent 2 hours on the phone with BT support who are, as usual, totally and utterly useless; all they advise is to turn the hub on/off again or move my devices closer to the hub.

They have run diagnostics and say the hub is fine and so is the exchange and so nothing more can be done.

Who do I turn to? There is obviously a problem. The issue happens accross all devices in this house, Mac's, iPhones, android tablets and laptops.


I have done a factory reset and the issue persists.

Is there any noise on your phone calls? Dial 17070 and select option 2, there should be no noise between the announcements

 

Can you please post the information from the smart hub, using this link.

Does the issue persist with a wired connection?
