Any chance BT can provide and publish a solution for those of us having problems registering for the Britbox 6 month offer. It would help if BT published an acknowledgement on the relevant page with a solution particularly for those of us who keep seeing the red banner that states we are not broadband customers or Account Holders even though we are!

Sorry that you're seeing the red banner when trying to avail from the Britbox 6 month offer. This happens when your BTID status is set up as "Account Manager".
Can you change your account holder status so that your BTID is set up as the Account Holder? Here is the link to show you how - What's the difference between an Account Holder and an Account Manager in My BT?
