The relationship between my Apple TV box and BT Hub has always been rocky. Inconsistent connections, having to reset, Airplay not working consistently etc.
I upgraded to fibre ultrafast two weeks ago and the Apple TV is now useless. I've reset, restored, tried wire connections, switched the hub off and on and followed every tip I can find.
I have it connected to the network. All the apps appear but if I try to connect to Netflix, Now or Prime, it just says that the service is unavailable.
All other devices are fine in terms of connection, the Apple TV and hub are in the same locations, so nothing has changed there.
Of course, both Apple and BT support is virtually useless - just give us your money and shut up. Until we contact you to ask for more money.
So, I call upon the good people of the online community - has anyone else had this and did you find a solution?

So to clarify @tnew is it Apple TV 1st Generation that you have as defined in this
sorry it's gen 3 -A1427.
This seems to have magically rectified itself. Now working okay.
