I've recently started having problems sending and receiving emails with my btinternet.com email address when I use Outlook 2016 on a Windows 10 PC.
The email account itself is fine and I have no problems using the webmail version (mail.yahoo.com) or the email app on an Android phone.
So the problem would seem to be the Outlook settings. After working ok for several months, I now get error messages in Outlook which state that Outlook cannot connect to my incoming POP3 server.
I checked the settings at BT's help page and everything was correct. However, sending a test message also produced errors.
I tried setting up an IMAP version and again received errors.
Outlook is otherwise behaving normally. I also have an outlook.com email address and that has no problems sending and receiving in Outlook 2016.
