Before i tell my friend to call to book an appointment with a bt enginner.

Am i right in thinking that if you are using a total broadband connection on the mk2 master socket for infinity that you will either need to upgrade your broadband package or get the master socket changed as his connection will not come on.

No need to change any socket. Why do you think it's necessary?

We have connected his internet up and everything but no connection for the past 2 days he said he'll just call up thanks.

Hi @wolfy097 and thanks for posting.

Can you give us more detail on your friends set up? Which hub / router is he using? Are you conncted to an extension? Have you tired connectiing to the test socket?
