Before I upgraded to FTTC I was on ADSL 2+ but for some reason, I was not able to get annex M upload speeds. My upload was usually around 0.8 MBS (download being between 20 & 22 MBS) despite being stone's throw from the telephone exchange. Annex M was also an option ADSL checker website. I can only guess that I wasn't on Annex m at the time (My friend who lives 2km away from the exchange is on the other hand) and I was wondering if there was anything that I could have done to get the annex M upload speeds to benefit because of they're useful. Would I have .needed to request it? I don't need it now since I've got a solid 80/20 connection rate. I was just curious to why I wasn't on it in the first place before I upgraded.

Annex M is not available to residential customers, and I am am not even sure it was ever offered to businesses.
