Quite different speeds in ADSL Checker between two lines in same house

Hello

I have two lines in my house. The line currently used for broadband shows quite a slower speed in the ADSL checker than the other line, as  below. If possible, please let me know if it's worth switching broadband to the other line or not. Currently getting around 45 mpbs for the current line, on Infinity 2.

line currently used for broadband:

Other line ('phone only):

Also, what is significance of Bridge Tap = U for the 2nd line?

thanks

Re: Quite different speeds in ADSL Checker between two lines in same house

The line with broadband will be a more accurate figure as stats from the hub will be part of the estimation process.

Bridge tap =U (unknown) means that it has not been possible to determine if a bridge tap exists, possibly because there is no broadband on that line.

A bridge tap is the technical term for a spurious wire connected to the circuit.
