REVERTING FROM PREMIUM MAIL HAVING RETURNED TO BT BROADBAND

Last year I closed one of my BT broadband accounts but kept my BT email address by signing up for Premium Mail (now £5 /month).

I have just opened a new BT Broadband and want to use my existing email with that account I.e. merge the two back together, simple enough?

No! after a helpfull online chat I was directed to India on 0808 100 6778, been there,no help whatsoever, just a polite person reading the same thing repeatedly from their scipt?

Who can merge these two BT accounts back to where they were a year ago Please?
