I've been experiencing this problem for well over a month now...I've replaced everything it could possible be within my home including the router BT hub 3 to a BT hub 4.
The only thing I have noticed when changing the hub to the 4 was a lower ping when not experiencing the ping spikes... normally sitting at 40 / 45 now around 30.
I consider my internet to be "good" when it's at around 5mps and 35/ 45 ping
I've had at least 4 line resets over this period 3 before engineer visit and 1 after it.
I have had a BT engineer come out to my home but, it's not consistent it of course was working like a charm but confirmed it was anything in my house if there was a issue. It was raining heavily at the time of visit.

As you can see, lots of different numbers and its driving me crazy, it can work perfectly some nights/days and be up and down like this at any given time.
Any help on this greatly appreciated.
