Can anyone shed some light on what may or may not be a similar/related issue?

I access my BT email at https://home.bt.com/login/.  Once logged in the address is https://mail.yahoo.com/d/folder .

Q1. Am I using Yahoo or BT mail ?

All seems to work as it should, however, despite existing links to/accessing other Yahoo.co.uk and Gmail mailboxes from my primary BT email account/mailbox, I cannot add/access other Yahoo (Ymail) and BT mailboxes. I'm sure I could access these previously, but now I just get a message saying "Additional providers coming soon".

Q2. Is there any way to add other BT and Yahoo (Ymail) mailboxes to my main BT mailbox?

Q3. Do I just give up with BT and make Gmail or Ymail my primary account?

All guidance appreciated.

You would appear to be on the BTYahoo email system. Once you have logged on to your email account if you are on the BTYahoo system you look at the BT logo you see Yahoo.

As regards moving your "primary account" to gmail or Ymail, BT have "re-started" the migration of BTYahoo email accounts to the BTMail system and your BTYahoo email accounts will at some point be migrated although there is no way for you to check when this will be done so you may want to keep that in mind before deciding whether or not to move your primary email account.

Yahoo are limiting what email providers email accounts can be added and accessed via the Yahoo email account and this would appear to be what is/has happened to your previous access.

If you want to access all your various email accounts via one program you should consider using an email client such as Thunderbird or Outlook.

Thanks for that. Yes, it appears I'm on BT Yahoo, the logo is BT Yahoo.
Frustrating that i can access my Yahoo.co.uk mailbox but not my Ymail mailbox. And you'd have thought adding other BT Yahoo mailboxes would be available.
My BT contract is up in April. I'll review then.
