Hi,

 

I have a similar problem. I changed mobile earlier this year and need to delete my number as a user so I can create a new account. I try and delete the only user on the BT Smart Talk Manage User page but it won't save.

 

I have tried to contact RobbieMac but I can't find a link underneath his profile.

 

Hope someone can help me.

Have you tried using a different browser or ideally a different device.

 

I was advised to clear cookies, history etc., etc., by BT but that was a waste of time and I tried from both Firefox and IE.

 

However I then tried doing this from my tablet with Chrome and that seemed to work.

 

Still think there's a fault with the BT website but their techies don't seem to believe that is the case.

Yes I have tried multiple different browsers and multiple devices and still can't save to delete a user. Still can't see a link to contact a moderator either.

 

I also think there is a problem with the site.

Moderator contact is by invitation only.

@Asbo1 I'm sorry about the problems you've had managing your Smart Talk app, we'll be able to help you get the old number deleted if you send over your details. 

 

You'll now be able to see the link if you click on my username.

Hi @Asbo1,

 

I can see that my colleagues from the Smart Talk team were in contact with you on the 21st. They reported that the issue has been fixed. Please can you let me know if the Smart Talk service is back working for you?

PaddyB thanks for following up and your persistence with support from the BT SmartTalk team who also followed up with me daily.

 

The App is now reinstalled and working perfectly.
