BT4500 big button phone fault

I have bought and tried 2  * BT4500 twin sets specifically for the inductive coupler for my hearing aid. None of the 4 handsets in the 2 boxes work as an inductive coupler. BT deny that it's a problem with their phone. The NHS have tested my hearing aid and it works perfectly with their inductive coupler. Has any one else bought the BT4500 for use on the "T" function on their digital hearing aid? Does it work or is it a complete con and time waster?

As per my earlier private message, my mother-in-law and I have seemingly the same issue as you describe. The BT documentation confirms that the feature is installed and activated automatically when a hearing aid is set to it's "T-loop" setting. Unfortunately the BT Help Desk team have no information and can't help.

May I please ask if you've had any help and all is now well?
