i switched to EE today from BT, my BT email address has been my main one for years & BT cancelled it today, with no warning. i know i can pay for BT Premium Mail, yet there's no option on my BT page & why did they not put me on this ?
i'm ABSOLUTELY ******ING FURIOUS !! i've spent over an hour and half on hold this morning trying to sort this out, twice i was put on hold & left for over 10 minutes. after the fourth call, someone told me Level 2 would be calling me tomorrow to sort this out. but having read others comments about Level 2, i'm not holding my breath. why is it so diffucult to reinstate my email address ? when i bet it only took one click to deactivate it. BT have no idea how much grief this is causing me.

I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.
I suspect you have an old BT Yahoo email address, so it may be more difficult.
I'm sorry to hear you left us and have since lost access to your email.
Once you have left, setting up a Premium Mail account is slightly different. You'll need to go to the page where you would have managed your mail beforehand: Manage mail
There should be an option available for you to set up Premium Mail from that page.
i tried manage email, gave the option to set up a new email, but no Premium
the other link comes up no access, email address no longer exists.

I'd like to take a look into your account to see what's gone wrong. Can you click on my user name and then on contact the mods please? It's important that we look into this as soon as possible as the longer we leave it the less chance there is of recovering it. Let me know when you've done that for me.
