Hi, new customer unable to get the bt player or sports channels working, activation date was today, get error btp 15990..tried software update too, can you help please?

Hi @Laddy21 welcome to the forum and thanks for posting. Sorry that you are getting this error on the BT Player and Sport. I've moved you post to create your own thread as the other thread was resolved long ago. Please would you try to reboot your TV box by flicking the switch at the back? You may need to try this twice. Post back and let me know how you get on.

Hi John, all working now.

I connected the you view box to the hub via a very long ethernet cable and done a factory reset.

Pressed the BT payer button and it loaded up and I can now type 408 and get the sports channels.

Then put the mini connectors in and it stayed up.
