I have a similar problem,just joined BT,activated 12/07 2016.
I was with plusnet for almost 5years prior to this,i was going to join sky at first but they said i don,t even have a phoneline.
I was told that plusnet would have to update my postcode & address with openreach database,which they said they did.
But anyway sky said i could not be found,as the original postcode that was used for here to get my new phoneline installed 5 rears was wrong.
Anyway hopefully a mod could get this looked at in the openreach database.

If you are now activated with BT Retail, what is the problem?
@canondslr Did an engineer need to visit your home to do the install? If no visit was required this would normally indicate that the address details are correct on the Openeach database.
Thank you for a very quick response,no engineer visited me,so it must have been activated at the green box on the street.
I just found it weird that sky said we don,t have a line or fibre at our premises,anyway thank you very much,i just thought i would feel satisfied if i was on the OR database,thanks again.
