What's the chances of fiber at my postcade ad ?   IV2 7JF.  We're told it might take years yet.

Can you put your telephone number into here https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/adsl.htm?s_cid=ws_furls_adslchecker and pist the results? Remove your phone number from the results but let us see the Exchange name and cabinet number.

You're too far from the cabinet. I suggest getting in touch with the local council/local BDUK funded organisation.

WBC SOGEA is currently not available on this cabinet due to following reasons:- Sorry your cabinet is temporarily unavailable, capacity will be restored as soon as possible.

 

For all ADSL and WBC Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC or WBC SOGEA) services, the stable line rate will be determined during the first 10 days of service usage.

 

There are no left in jumpers available on this line. This line is on a Market A Exchange.

Throughput/download speeds will be less than line rates and can be affected by a number of factors within and external to BT's network, Communication Providers' networks and within customer premises.

The Stop Sale date for Datastream is from 30-Jun-2012; the Formal Retirement date for Datastream is from 30-Jun-2014.

If the End User wishes to migrate from their current Broadband supplier they will need to contact the Broadband supplier they want to take service from to arrange for the service to be migrated.

even if there is capacity, you're still too far. The approximate location of the cabinet is IV12 5XT. Around 3 miles from your postcode I'm afraid. Here's the information from the Openreach checker - Your cabinet is enabled for Superfast fibre however you're not able to order fibre just yet. This might be because the length of the line is too long to get Superfast speeds. We're actively looking at other options. Ok Heard from the HIE and it seems they ARE building a new cabinet closer to our premises. Should be available in a few months. Wonderful news
