I have had a similar issue with the transfer of my old number from Virgin Media . I had my new BT line installed on the 1/7/16 and was told that it would take a few days to switch numbers ( I have had the old one for 30 years) . Over the past 2 weeks I have phoned the BT call centre only to be fobbed off by saying someone will phone tomorrow. No phone calls ,more texts and no action. I have tried the complaints with no joy. I am very upset and now deeply regret my move to BT. I would be grateful for any help /advice .
