Re: Order progress and the worst customer service I have ever seen.

Hi,

I am having a big issue, moving from Sky (sky is actually cancelled and services ended),  I took day of work  on the 16th December and no one turned up, multiple calls and not once they could tell me much execpt something to do with phone line still not active, no offence to the indian call centre staff but really dont think they understand teh fustration it can cause especially when it something you need as I require access to me work email at home on my laptop and while Ive been waiting my sky service has been cut off so I am left with no phone/internet and TV as I ordered the whole package.

What is mosst annoying they don't advise you by text or email no one is turning up to your home, they must think we have no jobs or social life.

Still I am no where near getting any service and now I have no other supplier who can help me before christmas.

I just got a text in last hour saying they found the issues was some other company has my phone line and I need to cancel with them but previous people was sky who do not have it anymore and teh phone line is dead!

I give up and I was so looking forward to joing them but wish I read the reviews first on there customer service.

I will stay if they get the TV service running by christmas otherwise I will just have to cancel alltogether as I don't plan going in new year chasing this. And I really can't belive that my son wil now have no internet for his new games to play over christmas!

Wholehearted sympathies. It is a shame as I believe that BT TV can be really good and the pricing is fair. But it seems it may come at a price. At least I have got a working phone line, even if it is something of an irrelevance nowadays.

Re: Order progress and the worst customer service I have ever seen.

well its christmas eve and guess what?

Yup I am still waiting but just want to say thanks BT for providing my son with no internet whihc is needed for him to play with his christmas presents and also not TV service fo christmas TV!

Everything should of gone live on the 16th and my old provider services have all now stopped, I was never notified that teh engineer to install TV was not goign to turn up even thought I was tracking my order it said he would be coming even on the day said he will be coming but no one ever showed and no text or email to let me know, I even got a call about a week before to confirm the visit that never happened.

Re: Order progress and the worst customer service I have ever seen.

It does sound to me like Sky took a long time to close their activities down, so leaving a "tag" on the line which would stop other service providers from taking over.

That would have prevented the order from progressing normally. The booking for the visit would have already been scheduled and it may not have been noticed until the day, that the other parts of the order has not been completed.

Only BT can help with this.

Re: Order progress and the worst customer service I have ever seen.

Well looks like BT have made another house happy considering when I first ordered I was wold it will all being done by 16th I get a text jsut now saysing internet will be 29th (not holding my breath) and TV service not date given. family with no TV and internet. no games for my son and no TV for christmas great!

Not interest in live chat or contacting a the order team I give up now wasting time now when this should be a special time but gues we can sit round fire and play board games for the coming weeks.
