Iam having the same problem accessing my DVR from outside the network. Ive set everything up like i have done before on my talk talk router but its not working :(. iam using a DDNS which is updating and static ip for my DVR which i have set up portforwarding rules to. I have also turned off smart set up and upnp, any ideas?

I am using the HH6 and i have read your previous post. I have manually assigned my DVR the IP address of 192.168.1.10 which i believe is outside the DHCP range and disabled upnp.
Please can you provide a screenshot of the page I requested?
Also, can you visit https://www.whatismyip.com/ip-address-lookup/ and make a note of your public IP address.
Then go to this page http://192.168.1.254/0000012803/gui/#/broadband/internet
and see if its the same as your broadband IP address.
Check that you have the correct default gateway setting on the DVR, it should be 192.168.1.254, someone else forgot that one.
DNS should also be the same.

It had to be something simple in the end, as I do know that port forwarding works very well on the HH6.
