Is it a BT Home hub 6 you are using, and did you read the information I posted on the other thread?

Its best to have your own thread, which is why I have moved your post. Please reply using the modified subject line. Thanks.

Hi Keith,

Thanks for your quick reply.

I am using the HH6 and i have read your previous post. I have manually assigned my DVR the IP address of 192.168.1.10 which i believe is outside the DHCP range and disabled upnp.

Please can you provide a screenshot of the page I requested?

Also, can you visit https://www.whatismyip.com/ip-address-lookup/ and make a note of your public IP address.

Then go to this page http://192.168.1.254/0000012803/gui/#/broadband/internet

and see if its the same as your broadband IP address.

Check that you have the correct default gateway setting on the DVR, it should be 192.168.1.254, someone else forgot that one.

DNS should also be the same.

If you need to post images, see here.

Hi have sorted it. My gateway on the DVR was set 192.168.1.254 but the USB net work adapter that plugs into the DVR was set to 192.168.1.1 so I changed it to 192 168.1.254 and it works 🙂 thanks for your help.

It had to be something simple in the end, as I do know that port forwarding works very well on the HH6.
