Re: Problem with new BT Mail

Go to solution

There are SO many issues using this new mail

• items in your inbox and folders show there is something there (1,2,3 etc) but when you open that folder “ there isn’t! “ no matter what filter you use!

• whatever happened to “select all” when you have many items to delete? If it’s there, I can’t see it!

• if you want to ‘move’ an item, it’s now a three step process (swipe/more/move) - what’s that all about?

and so on and so on... 😥😥😥

https://community.bt.com/t5/Email/Email-migrations-Update-from-BT/td-p/2062527

• whatever happened to “select all” when you have many items to delete? If it’s there, I can’t see it! You can tick the box in the menu bar which will select all visible emails in your list or

Click on the box to the left of the first email you want to delete and assuming you want to delete all the emails that are below that you can either press on your keyboard  "shift" key and "PgDn" key repeatedly and it will mark all the other emails with a tick or use the "shift" key and the down arrow. This will also mark all the boxes with a tick or tick the first box you want to delete and holding the shift key move to the last email you want to delete and tick its box and release the shift key. All the emails in between should now be ticked.

If you don't all the emails that have been marked with a tick deleted you need to go down the list and untick the ones you want to keep.

Once you have done that you then click on the "Delete" button in the menu bar which should delete them on mass however if it does not work, once they have all been ticked, you should try to drag and drop them into the trash folder.

• if you want to ‘move’ an item, it’s now a three step process (swipe/more/move) - what’s that all about? Drag and drop individual emails from your list of emails into the folder you want or select multiple emails as per the above and drag and drop them all into the folder you want.

and so on and so on... 😥😥😥
