Re: Resetting devices on by tv app

Hi,

I'm unable to view content on BT TV App due to exceeding device limit. I am unable to register new/ replace device even though its been months since using it last time (no idea what devices are/were registered). The system should allow me to do this but it doesn't. No easy way in the website either? Please advise how to reset and add devices.

Thanks

Chris

Hi @kiffuslynne and welcome.

I've moved your post to start a new thread so we can offer some help. Can you just confirm how many devices you registered? Are you getting an error message?

Cheers

Re: Resetting devices on by tv app

Hi,

I have 2 registered devices, however I have no idea which 2 and over the years devices have come and go. I wish to reset as on current device it says , You've reached your device limit, Please remove a device if youd like to watch on this one (GP958). I can not see how to remove a device on the App or on the BT website either. It is also considrably more that 30 days since I last used the APP.

On the device it says the following in Device Managment:-

This device isn't currently registered. To register this device, play and film or TV show and it'll appear in your list.

On doing this it shows:- You've reached your device limit, Please remove a device if youd like to watch on this one (GP958).

All I want is to reset the system to allow the 2 devices access.

Thanks

Chris
