Re: SLOW Broadband speeds... D:<

Do these error seconds look high?  Engineer came Saturday 9 March to address slow download speeds (c 0.5 - 1mbps).  Ran all tests and eventually switched me from fast to interleaved.  Speeds immediately recovered to 5mbps but now back to 1mbps

Re: SLOW Broadband speeds... D:<

errors are high for a connection time of <24hrs

can you run btspeedtester and after first test completes then run diagnostic test and post the results

try quiet line test   dial 17070 option 2  should hear nothing and best with corded phone  if cordless then dull hum normal

Re: SLOW Broadband speeds... D:<

the router says interleaved but the high number of crc/hec and error seconds and almost nil fec errors look more like a fast connection.

as you have a good max connection speed I would try 1 reset tomorrow about lunctime and see if that will actually change it to interleaved and reduce the errors

Re: SLOW Broadband speeds... D:<

Thanks - the Interleave switch happened about 36 hours ago.  Would it take time to register properly?

Re: SLOW Broadband speeds... D:<

I would expect it to change when router reset but with interleaved you should have lots of fec errors and a lot less of the other errors.  if a reset doesn't help then you will need to contact the mods so here is link in case

can take up to 3 working days for mods to contact you
