Hi

 

Can you help me since Thursday my internet connection has gone mega slow. I was getting speeds of around 4mbps. I am currently using the BT Home Hub 2 I have got my current statistics below. My neighbour is on Talk Talk Broadband and they are pulling 4.5mbps so whats gone wrong with my connection any help much appreciated

You must leave your home hub turned on and connected to your phone line for at least five days, as your speed has been reduced, either because of a fault, or by continually restarting the home hub.

 

During that time, do not reset or disconnect it, even to do a speed test.

 

If your download speed has not increased after that time, then return to this thread for assistance.

The problem is my hub seems to drop connection at least once or twice & day so I cant do it continues for 5 days

your hubstats show over 1days connection already please just leave everything as it is and post back your hubstats in 3 days time please

Hi

I am sorry to see you are having problems with your BT Service


I suggest you contact the forum mods they should be able to get your noise margin reset  for you this is a link to them http://bt.custhelp.com/app/contact_email/c/4951


They normally reply by email or phone directly to you within 3 working days they will take personal ownership of your problem until resolved and will keep you informed of progress


They are a UK based BT specialist team who have a good record at getting problems solved


This is a customer to customer self help forum the only BT presence here are the forum moderators
