Re: Useless new BT E-Mail

I see that the powers that be have locked the other thread which details all the naffness of the new email system.  Their planned updates of August/September/October have done nothing to address how user unfriendly it is.

Sick to the back teeth of BT .

I can't disagree with your final comment, but I think the long thread (which is still accessible, you just can't add to it) was covering much of the same ground again and again - as people are migrated they hit many of the same problems - and it's probably more efficient for each problem to have its own little thread, which newbies can easily find, then expecting people to trawl through the War and Peace of BT Community threads. If it is possible (some systems allow it) it might be good to pin the posts from the real BT person which give operational updates to the top of the email board as a first port of call for the newly worried.

Do you mean like they have already done.

Yeah but we plebs can't add to that thread.

Yes, I know we are treading the same old ground Jules, but new issues pop up daily.  Right now I'm trying to open and email via clicking on it and it just goes to the email which was received  before it (x4).  An absolute shambles and the state of that egregious final reply on the other thread, almost bragging about the 'improvements' takes the biscuit.

Every single one of the original one of the issues I raised when I was first migrated hasn't been addressed.  As Johnny Rotten once said "do you ever get the feeling you've been cheated?!"

Re: Useless new BT E-Mail

You have just justified why that thread was locked. Your 'new' problem has been raised numerous times on that thread which you have clearly missed in the quagmire.

It is much clearer to see what is happening if new threads are started for new problems.
