W Channel

Hi. I switched to BT on the 5th Jan and was told I would have Channel W as I specifically checked. When my box arrived I couldn't access 311 and was told they weren't doing it anymore. Tonight I rang and was told it only comes with the old packages not the new ones and I would have to pay £270 to change packages as it was out of my 14 days even though I have rung up numerous times within 14 days and not been offered any other option. ! After I'd stopped laughing I said I'd been totally misled and asked how I could get Channel W. The young man said he would speak to his supervisor, returned and said I can change package on 6th Feb to Classic but will lose NowTV which I don't really watch anyway! I feel like they make it so confusing just so you will go for the NowTv package.

Thast's not how it works, you can't switch to Classic Entertainment, you can only switch between the flexible NowTV plans, Classic isn't one of them.
You'll need a BT employee to do the change of promotion, it will also reset the 24 month term, although by the sounds of it you have just over 23 months left now.

Also worth noting that moving to Classic will see some content removed in the next few months :
The following channels are being removed from this package from 1st March: Sky History, Lifetime, Crime & Investigation and Vice. From 1st April, Syfy and E! will also be removed.

Hi @Phillic3 if you feel you have been misled then raise a complaint.

I know from my own experience, the CS staff state what is not true either intentionally or through inadequate training. I hope it is the latter.
