Re: infinity too slow for bt sport

Hi All, I urgently need some help! I think BT online chat are simply "fobbing" me off.  I upgraded to BT infinitity top package several months ago. Due to work I have now only found the time to try and deal with this. I have done all speed checks and all recommendations.  My download is about 10mbs and upload is 0.75mbs.  This seems dismal.  On BT speedcheck it show speed from exhange to my house is 12mbs. This seems unacceptably slow.... what is your opinion folks?  I have a neighbour whos line comes from a different street box and he is getting 57mbs! Seems i may be at the end of the line from my street box/exchange. Can this be boosted? I getting buffering on BT sport which was a primary reason for selecting BT in the first place.  Another neighbour said getting a BT engineer out may help if he can rearrange the "pairs" between house and box.  Any advice or help?  cheers

Re: infinity too slow for bt sport

If you use this checker it will show what your line is estimated to receive. Post back a screen print of the results.

Use this speed tester then carry out the further diagnostics and post back a screen print of all the results including your IP profile for up and down. This will help to try and sort your problem.
