unable to view BTSport or paid for channels

I have exactly the same issue. IPC6023 error. I have a TP -Link router which is working fine. My BT TV box says it has 90 or so internet channels, they appear in the guide but I just get a black screen when I select any of them. I have restarted everything several times, re-scanned the channels etc but I'm not getting anywhere. Any ideas?

Its possible your TP Link router does not support multicast.

Which one is it?

The model is TD-W9970. I think it does support multicast but not 100%

There have been a number of posts regarding this router. As this is not an issue with the YouView Box or service, I am moving this post to the general broadband board, where discussions about routers normally take place.

If you search that board or all the boards, you may find those posts.

From the left hand menu select IPTV > tick enable IPTV,  select LAN port that you are using for You view box, select VDSL, tick VLAN enable, enter 101 or that doesn't work try 102. Click save.

If you are unable to get your BT channels, but you are getting your Freeview channels, are you connecting your router to your Tv box using a network cable, or using extenders? Your original post does not make this clear.

Thanks. Done. No joy. I now have a different error code but not sure what difference that makes. IPC6002. Any other ideas?
