Recorded programmes not showing in My TV on my extra box

Hi,

I'm new to BT so please excuse my ignorance but I am being driven mad by my inability to solve my problem! It's no doubt down to something I am doing/not doing but I clearly need help, lol.

I have over 50 recorded programmes available to watch via My TV on my main box but only 2 of them are appearing on my extra box. 

I have messed about with this for so long that I have no idea how I managed to get the 2 that are there on it in the first place.

I do record quite a lot using the BTTV app on my phone - could that be the problem?

I'm only guessing as I don't have extra box but have you paid for any films as I'm speculating that they might get downloaded to both boxes. Other than that there shouldn't be any link between them I would have thought.

The app will only connect to a single box - bit of a failing for extra box users I fear - so that shouldn't be the cause.

The app can only be paired with 1 box, and all recording requests from the app will go just to that box.

Recordings are only accessible from the box they're recorded on - there's no way to watch them on any other box or device.

The fact that you're seeing 2 recordings on the other box, they must have been set to record on that box.

If you want all recordings in future to be available on both boxes, I'm afraid you'll need to schedule them on each box.

I am not able to record on my second box so that's definitely not why the 2 shows are appearing.

Ah OK! In which case, I'm guessing they're for the Catch Up programmes - select either of the 2 that you're seeing on your second box and see what they launch.  I'm guessing it'll be one of the catch up players.  If that's the case, then they'll be showing there because you've used catch up from that box in the past.
