I have been trying to record on BBC TWO The £100k House: Tricks of the Trade. I First set to record on our Youview box for Wednesday 20th September 2017 1.30 pm. Went to watch this in the evening and though it said 60 mins when we entered it was a blank screen and showing 0 mins, deleted the schedule.
Tried the next day Thursday and just pressed record when it came on showed recording and appeared in the recorded programs list. Again it shows the 60mins record time when you press the i button but when you press play it shows 0.00 mins record time and when you press play you get a blank screen. Again today the same thing. It's the only program we have had a problem with. Daft question has it got anything to do with the EPS for this program has a £ in it.

Hi @thewheelshavecomeoff and thanks for posting.
It's really unusual that you're having problems with one programme. Are you still having this problem? Have you checked if the storage on the box is full?
Cheers
David
Hi David
It happened again today on that same program. I have recorded 8 different programes since last Friday all are ok. The box has 94% space left on it. Still think the £ in the title is a pointer.
Mike
I set this to record on one of my boxes & it was perfectly OK. This is in the London region if that matters.
BTW I'm running OldGen rather than the screwed up NextGen.
Thanks for trying that Tim
It still will not record and I am in the London region as well and my box is the old Youview Humax from 2012.
I have set it again to record on the BBC 1 HD channel on Tuesday next week so will wait and see if that works.
@thewheelshavecomeoff would you mind sending over your details and we'll get this checked out? I'd like to get our BT TV specialists to take a look at this shouldn't be happening.
You'll find the 'click here to contact the mods' the link by clicking on my username.
Thanks
Neil
@thewheelshavecomeoff I called there but missed you, I wanted to let you know that I have raised this problem with our BT TV team for further investigations and as soon as we have an update we'll get back in touch with you.
@thewheelshavecomeoff the TV team have asked a few questions to help with their investigations.
Are you recording on the BBC TWO HD or SD channel?
When on the channel in question can you press Youview button then>settings>TV Signal Quality and advise what the signal strength and signal quality is?
Is it possible to record the signal strength and quality at the time of the recording failure?
Thanks
Neil
Thanks for posting back with the info that @NeilO asked for.
My colleagues in the TV team have asked me to make sure that your box is on the latest software. Can you check this by going to software information and update software?
Try this when you get the chance and I will come back to you again tomorrow.
Cheers,
Robbie
