Red light on youview box

Every evening I switch my bt youview box off leaving it in standby mode.

For the last week or so, when I come to switch it on again the light has gone red and it needs to be switched off at the back and reset to 'wake ups again.

Anyone know why or experience in similar?

Change the smart standby  settings so that it only covers the time when you are not using the box.

 

This was implemented in a recent software upgrade.

Since about the same date, I am having to soft reboot the box at least once a day. A software update or new setting should not cause the box to hang. It now has red light, but also freezes at least once a day whilst watching

There we go. Rebooted, up for 3 minutes. Frozen again. Ridiculous
