Reduced Broadband speeds

Go to solution

Guys

Hi, please baer with me, looking for some advice. My BT Downstream Sync Speed according tomthe Smart Hub Manager, is showing at 38mbps.

Imhave been with BT Broadband for over 2 years and started off at 51mbps  then went down to 47 and it sat there at 47mbps for over 14months, the speed has now gradually went down evry month and is at 38mbps. I have tried raising this with BT, but keeping getting told its within the range that they promise. What i want to know is why has it dropedfrom 47 to 38, is this BT slowing it down nd is there any way I can get it back to that sort of speed, that I used to have.

We'll need a bit of extra info to be able to help so can you do the following.

Enter you phone number HERE and post the result. Remonve number before posting.

Post your hub connection stats.

HH5 Troubleshooting/helpdesk.

HH6 Advanced settings/technical log/information.

Is there any noise on your line. 17070 option 2, best with corded phone.

Your connection stats look good. Presuming there is no noise on your line I would suggest you are a victim of crosstalk. There is nothing you can do about it.

I agree with @pippincp stats look as good as you will get and with noise margin down at about 3db suggest you have had a boost from G.INP
