Refer a friend to BT Broadband and get £50 each

For every person, you help join us you’ll get a £50 gift card to spend on Amazon.co.uk. And they will too.

How it works

If you’re a BT Broadband customer you can refer anyone who doesn’t have broadband with us. It doesn’t matter if they’re already a BT customer for something other than broadband, for example, mobile.

First, visit our refer a friend page to get a unique referral link to share with your friends.

How does my friend register for BT Broadband?

Your friend needs to register for the refer a friend offer using the unique link you sent them. Once they’ve registered they need to buy an eligible broadband plan online.

It’s important they use the same email address to register for the refer a friend offer and buy their broadband plan.

When will we get our £50 gift cards?

You should both get your gift cards within 45 days of your friend joining. You’ll both need to be outside of your cancellation periods. And you’ll both have to have paid your next full bill from the point at which your friend joined broadband with BT.

You can check the status of your referrals by using the online status checker. You can do this by following the link in the email we sent you when your friend joined.

Re: Refer a friend to BT Broadband and get £50 each

Hi I have the same problem that neither myself nor the friend who referred me have yet received our £50 Amazon vouchers. My order was completed on 10th February 2020 and two bills have already been paid . Not sure what the delay is  - no explanation from BT.

Re: Refer a friend to BT Broadband and get £50 each

We are both within the guidelines. The tracker isn't working so I have no clue what is happening.

I tried to chase it at 40 days and was to nothing could be chased until 45 days. Despite the emails etc saying 30days. Chased again at 47 days and was told an email would be sent to the relevant department and I'd get a response within 10days and nothing happened.

Chased again 14 days later and again was told an email would be sent. I was told that if I haven't heard anything by 15th to chase again. So I guess that is what I will have to do.

It would be nice for someone from BT to actually give some answers or a reason for the delay and when to expect the vouchers.

Re: Refer a friend to BT Broadband and get £50 each

I set up my BT Broadband through refer a friend. I received an email on 03/03/20 to sag my gift card was on the way after my first bill had been paid but I still haven’t received it.

My broadband was set up by 02/03/20 and my first bill was paid by 11/03/20.

I understand it is a very difficult time for BT but I can’t seem to find anywhere to contact to get some answers?

Thanks, Kirsty

@Kirsty19

I'm not getting anywhere fast with any of the ways to contact BT which I have tried.

If you have better luck please let me know.  I've chased and sent messages but as yet no one has responded.

Hi @Kirsty19 sorry about that, I'll send you a private message so you can get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

@lisajs sorry about the delay replying, we're a small team and work through our cases in the order we receive them. We'll be in touch once your details have reached the top of our queue.

Re: Refer a friend to BT Broadband and get £50 each

I was going to use my blue light card discount shortly before taking out a fibre package, can I use this in conjunction with that?
