I have received a refund on my last bill of £78 and would like the money transferring to my bank account. I've tried to do this via the website with no luck and due to the current situation there are no online chat forums available from BT, and no one appears to be answering the phone. Anyone got any ideas?
Credits on BT bills are usually set against subsequent bills until the credit is used up. I think it's possible to get immediate payment if you shout loud enough but that might be difficult at present, as you've found.
Thanks for that. My bill is up to date with no debit on it, so I will just have to keep trying.
Even if Live Chat or email were available you'd be better advised to phone directly since you'll be providing private bank details for the credit. Best keep the risk of compromised personal data to a minimum.
