Registering on BT SmartTalk

I have downloaded the SmartTalk app, tried to created a BT ID,  I put all my details in and the security question and answer but can't get any further.  It will not go to the link device stage.  Any suggestions?

Have you enabled it on the account holders MyBT screen?

 

Click on the SmartTalk tile, and follow the instructions to allow new users.

Allow new sign ups is activated on the MyBT screen but I can't see how to add a new user?

That should be enough. The first registered user needs to use the account holders BT ID and password to start the process. Additional users can then create new BT IDs.

 

This is to ensure that nobody else can activate SmartTalk, apart from the account holder.

 

So if its the first phone you are registering, you need to login to the app using the account holders BT ID and password.
