Re: Removing multiple BT extensions - help needed with 3 way junction

Ok, so now i've removed all the extensions. I just have this as the master socket where the wire enteres the house:

I recently found out our local cabinet is about to be connected to fibre so I'll try and get the box updated when I get the FTTC connected.

Out of interest will BT/Openreach need to come to the house to connect the FTTC? Will I need a new box/faceplate when I get connected?

When I get it connected I'd prefer to get the master socket moved (!) via a wire externally so that it eneters the house in the middle of the hiouse. (Currently the master socket is in the middle of the kitchen wall!).

You can still use that for BT Infinity, its self install so you will not get a visit unless your speed is below the minimun guarateed speed..

If you wanted the master socket moved, then you would have to pay £130.

Re: Removing multiple BT extensions - help needed with 3 way junction

Thanks. Can I fit one of those now i.e. before I get upgraded to FTTC fibre?
